Enrolling your child in a new programme can feel daunting, and you might have some pressing questions. To help, we’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions, answered right here for your convenience. What's the Adventure Programme?

The Adventure Programme comprises of seven action-packed adventure categories. Backed by research into child development and created in partnership with experts, the Adventure Programme provides children with the opportunity to learn essential life skills and have great fun exploring their interests.

Our morning programmes are now called ‘Get up and Go’, the perfect start to your child’s school day! We ensure kids step into school ready to embrace the day.

Our afternoon programmes are now called ‘Arrive and Thrive’, where children can dive into more fun activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom before heading home for quality family time.

What's an Adventure Category?

Each adventure category explores a different theme, providing children with a range of activities to choose from. Each category gives children the opportunity to discover new skills and explore their interests, all while having fun and creating friendships for life.

The Adventure Programme - What's different from before?

The Adventure Programme will enhance the experience of attending Sprint Kids! We have many more activities for children to choose how they spend their mornings and afternoons. These activities are backed by research into child development and based on children’s key development pillars, giving them the opportunity to learn essential life skills and create lifelong friendships beyond the classroom.

Are you registered with Tusla?

Yes, all School Age Childcare services are required to register with Tusla as they are our regulator and inspector. We also inspect our own services at least once a year to make sure that our own stringent standards are being adhered to.

Can I add extra days to my booking?

Yes, provided we have space, additional bookings can be made. Where possible, giving notice by 5pm Friday for the following week. Please note the NCS is only applied to regular bookings.

Are your Summer Programmes eligible for the NCS subsidy?

Yes, our Summer Programmes are eligible for the NCS subsidy.

Can I cancel the booking at any time?

It is possible to cancel the service, you need to give written notice at least 4 weeks in advance of the day you want to cancel.

Do you offer part time care?

Yes, we have three different options to choose from!

Option 1 – Three set days, Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Option 2 – Two set days, Tuesday and Thursday

Option 3 – Five days a week

Can I late pick-up my child?

The service closes at 6:00pm during term time and for the Holiday Programmes. If you are late, you must contact the manager or deputy as soon as possible. Late pick-ups incur a charge to cover staff costs.
